Brianna Boughman

Riding Instructor

Brianna joined the team at Nickajack Farms in October 2016 as an intern under Eileen “Bud” Roberts. This internship completed her Horse Production and Management Associates degree from Ohio State Agricultural Technical Institute.

Brianna has been riding horses for 10 years.

She began her journey with horses by taking lessons at Nickajack Farms when she was 12 years old. Since then it had always been her dream to become a riding instructor.

Brianna had the opportunity to own 2 of her own horses. Her first horse was a Quarter Horse named Jack, and her second horse was a Paint named Diesel. Becoming a horse owner only made her passion and love for this animal to grow even more.

While she attended OSU ATI, she was employed at the ATI Equestrian Center for 2 years. Here she assisted in the breeding program and helped manage the herd and facility gaining tons of horsemanship skills.

Brianna rides and teaches both English and Western. She is passionate about her job as an instructor at NJ because of her love for the students, their families, and the horses. She receives much joy from watching her students work hard and achieve their goals. She says she gets paid to do her hobby!
